We’re so proud to live in Utah! For the 11th year in a row, our state has been named No. 1 for total volunteers, according to the Volunteering and Civic Life in America report published this November.
Fully 43 percent of Utah residents volunteer, the report notes. That’s eight points more than the No. 2 state, Minnesota. Meanwhile, Minneapolis-St. Paul ranked No. 1 for total volunteers among large cities.
